Hi. I went from a 2017 Fusion Sport with the 2.7 eco. I just took my Ranger on a camping trip. I did notice that the Ranger just doesn't have the same power / torque when passing people, especially on hills. Its not bad and it does go but I have to give myself a little more room to get around...
Hi. I found the ford installation sheet. No hole drilling. Lots of clips though. It looks like only the middle two clips are anchored to the hood with push pins / screws. Thanks.
Hi. I searched and found a couple of threads but I don't think they answered the questions I have. Has anybody bought a deflector from Ford? I was considering the part # KB3Z-16C900-A. I also don't know what the difference between that deflector and the cheaper Aeroskin Ford sells part #...
I paid three years up front. In doing that I paid $850 in interest for 3 years. The remainder of the money I would have spent if I had bought it outright I invested. Assuming the banks don't completely crash Ill make more than the $850 in interest, even after its taxed.
The way I see it is, you do have something to show for it. You have options. You can buy it out, which if you do its no different than if you bought it outright from the beginning. In my case its a bit cheaper. You can give it back and get out of a potential bad deal. Or you can buy it out and...
Power tail gate? I can see maybe a power rear window. They need to meet fuel numbers so its not likely they would allow for a permanent disable , I'm just glad they offer a temporary disable of the start stop system. They don't get delivered with much washer fluid. I have PDI'd many of them, one...
I was surprised at how well the Ranger handles at speeds over 70. Passing, hills etc isn't a issue. Its peppy. Its not Fusion Sport 2.7L peppy but it does okay. It also corners better than I thought it would. No worries.
I have only had mine 3 weeks but so far ( knock on wood ) no issues here. Granted I haven't actually measured my frame height on both sides but it looks okay to me. The fit and finish seems as good as any other Ford product I've owned. I'm averaging 11L per 100Km which is about 21mpg. I think it...
I was going to buy outright as well but ended up leasing. I agree with ExChief45, if the Ranger has problems or the resale value is terrible I have a way out in 3 years. With the buyout ( plus tax ) and the 3 year lease my difference in price is $850. I took the money I would have spent buying...
All those messages are related to the ABS system. There is also a ABS light on the dash. Maybe a wheel speed sensor or maybe a wiring or connection issue.
Thank you for going to look. I was kinda hoping Ford would supply all 5 tires the same LT rating. Being that the spare isn't the same load rating or construction as the 4 on road tires I figured there must be some warnings printed somewhere. I downloaded the owners manual. Yup, they mention "...
Thank you for the replies. The reason I asked was I noticed a Ranger with the optional light truck 17" tires but the spare wasn't a light truck tire. I wasn't sure if it was a mistake or I made a mistake or that's just the way it is. But I guess any full size spare is better than the other...
I hope this wasn't asked already, I did a search and didn't see anything. The Rangers that were ordered with the optional LT 17" tires, is the spare also a LT tire? Thank you .
My first accessory I bought was the Ford cargo net. Today I ordered my second accessory - a hard, tri folding tonneu cover. Now all I need is the truck..
