  1. Lost Transmission Pan Bolt (8mm) RESOLVED

UPDATE: First of all, I love this forum. A huge thanks to everyone who chimed in with suggestions. Before receiving the magnet from Amazon, I tried banging on the crossmember with a rubber mallet. I could hear the bolt ratting inside, but still couldn’t locate it. The magnet fishing WORKED! I...
  2. Lost Transmission Pan Bolt (8mm) RESOLVED

I ordered a super strong magnet on Amazon. It should be arriving by tomorrow. I'll try my luck fishing for the bolt again. If it doesn't work I'll try ordering one of those bolts. Thank you!!
  3. Lost Transmission Pan Bolt (8mm) RESOLVED

I tried replacing my transmission fluid by myself today. As I was unbolting the pan, I dropped one of the 8mm bolts into a hole on top of the crossmember. I tried fishing it out with a magnet, with no luck. I've also been searching the internet all night looking for a part number and a...
  4. Installed PPE transmission pan

This is too true, and I found out the hard way! Does anyone know the part number to a replacement pan bolt? I've tried fishing the bolt out with a magnet, but no luck. I also haven't been able to find any part numbers for a replacement pan bolt. Please help!
  5. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

Small slip joint pliers and a little muscle work well. As another member posted, needle nose pliers will slip. I also wore an LED headlamp because it's dark in there and if you can't see it, you can't fix it. I had to lay across the driver's side fender and on top of the battery.
  6. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

Swapped out the sensor assembly. It was simple enough thanks to this thread. Happy to report that everything is running great and my CEL has turned off!
  7. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

Thanks to everyone contributing to this thread. I'm just over 56K on my odometer and looks like I need to swap out my EGR sensor as well. Funny though, my clueless service advisor correctly diagnosed and verified that the EGR system is the issue. However, she incorrectly quoted the part number...
  8. Fab Fours ACC Relocation Bracket Installed

Following up on the question from @ac_perks it stands to reason that the module should still function properly if the Raptor grille was being used. Still, I'd also like some confirmation as to whether ACC relocation is feasible with the Raptor grille using either the ADD of Fab Four bracket!
  9. Raptor Diff in USDM Ranger?

Harrop makes an Eaton E-locker for the front diff. https://www.harrop.com.au/shop/4x4-performance/elocker/elocker-ford-ranger-px-3-raptor-front
  10. Front Differential LSD

Here you go man! I've been considering adding a front locker too. Looks like we might have some choices here. There's ARB or Harrop.
  11. Are Tailgate Dampeners Frowned On Around Here?

Late to the party, but here's my take. Add whatever accessory you want that makes you enjoy your vehicle more. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter what anybody else thinks. Objectively, a damper improves upon a perceived flaw in the design. I installed one and I honestly enjoy every...
  12. Cabin Air Filter

No problem, Phil! Forums and YouTube were a great asset to me and my '03 Focus (RIP). Loving this Ranger community we've built here.
  13. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

At current pace, COVID-19 is gonna get to where I am way before the official Sync 3.4 release
  14. Cabin Air Filter

@Andy and @MT19RANGER Was the filter easy to locate and replace yourselves? It's time to change mine and I'd like to do it myself.
  15. Does anybody but me actually use the running boards?

I use them every time to enter, but not to exit. I'm 5'5" on a good day. My truck has a 2.5" Radflo lift, sitting on 285/70R17's. I was using the steps even before the lift and bigger tires. They're great for helping me reach the top when I'm cleaning/drying.
  16. Transporting Downhill Skis, 5' Bed

Nah, face em up for that extra downforce!
  17. Transporting Downhill Skis, 5' Bed

Nice! That's way better than I expected, because we have a 5 foot bed (152.4 cm). I guess I never considered the curve of the tip. :inspect:
  18. Transporting Downhill Skis, 5' Bed

What length are you riding on?? My 164's would be hanging off the back of that setup. It looks nice and clean though. Less aerodynamic resistance when it's riding low like that.
  19. Texas WTS FX4 Suspension (South Texas)
