I go through phases and a few years ago my goal was to collect an original, U.S.-made, 1968 Hot Wheel of each of the original 16. I finally did it by watching eBay and buying them one at a time. My only complaint is that the Camaro I bought was repainted by someone. If I had gotten an original Camaro that hadn't been touched, it was going to be expensive. Is that a steel body or a kit? It looks amazing either way but I've been looking at Factory 5 kits over the past few years so I'm always curious.the fun machine !
I live about 30 minutes from Factory Five. They always have a sale in January where they throw in $2k worth of options. I am waiting until then to order my Speed Star kit.

Really wanted to build the 65 Cobra Coupe but I can't get in and out gracefully. I plan to drive the wheels off the kit so crawling out on my hands and knees is a non starter. Even though the Speed Star has a radical chop with it's suicide doors it is easy to get in and out of.
