We can't get it locally it's made where we used to live and when friends from down there visit they must present a couple bottles to get in. It started in a small Greek run restaurant in Plesant Valley NY and finally they making it available to the world.

Kate made some incredibly tasty chicken enchiladas. Not much "from scratch" cooking, just some doctoring up of a rotisserie chicken, bottled enchilada sauce (she added sauteed garlic and shallots), canned refried beans, but a fresh avocado, cilantro, and perfectly-ripe tomatoes (that was pure luck, they're usually pretty tasteless).

But man oh man, it had to be some of the best I've ever had (and my mother retired to Mexico 35 years ago and I'm also spoiled from great TexMex from 14 years in Texas).

And it was an international meal with some gin and tonics! =D

Just grinding some pork for the freezer. Costco had boneless butts on sale yesterday so we grabbed a pack of 2. One for the grill and one to grind for the freezer. Vacuum packed 6- 1 pound packs for the freezer. Good to make sausage or use in meatloaf mix when thawed.

I'm being super lazy today (still tired from driving and getting an implant) and not in the mood to cook tonight. So it's hot dogs on the grill for me and Annie's having scrambled eggs. Her mouth is still really sore and swollen from having 4 teeth pulled and 4 bone grafts Friday. This isn't even picture worthy. lol ?

Thanks Marty! Honestly mine never hurt at all which I was surprised as I was expecting it to once the Novocain wore off. Annie had 2 lowers on each side and it's sore but not as bad as she thought. The worst for her is trying to eat because she can't chew on the back teeth because there isn't any. lol She has to cut everything up really small and use her front teeth like a rabbit. ?
