A little farther down you come to the Peter Norbeck Overlook. There's a small walking path that takes you up to a set of large rocks where you can get a really good view of Mt Rushmore, especially if you climb higher up on them.

To give you an idea how far away this is this shot was zoomed in at 15x.

This one was zoomed in at 7x.

Nice pictures!! It looks like the new phone is working out great!!! The 4k video is pretty good too. I also like the fast motion setting.

I think you automatically qualify for 30 days of premium Apple care. Good insurance if you do qualify, just in case. I think Polish Eagle would approve.

Thanks Andy. I'm still playing around with the settings but I do love this phone more so for the camera. lol That was the first video I took and it was only set to 1080p at 30fps by default. I just changed it now to 4K at 30 fps.

I’ve had my 14 pro for 4 months now and I’m still playing with the settings ? The 4k may be a little jerky when panning video, 1080p not so much but still great video. I’ve got 512 gig memory but it’s only good for about 75 minutes of video at 4k, memory hog for sure..

I only got the 1128 GB phone and I think it's only 25% full from my transfers. lol Yeah 4K is a memory hog for sure and I know with 1080p you can only email an 8 sec video. With 4K it's probably like 2-3 secs.

Woah , 128 gb limits you on your options for the camera, I really hope you mean the 1 tb option.. then you’re good to go. Otherwise many options are not available.. 256 gig and above is where the features unlock like 4k.. it seems you’re good..

The camera difference is between the plus and the pro models the pro's having the better cameras. All the pros have the same camera regardless of storage.

When I was buying them I asked 2 different reps about the camera, that's really my main reason for upgrading. That and the $700 loyalty credits and they both said all the pro and pro max cameras were the same. Having all the 4K features on mine looks like they were right. ?

We decided late last night to head up to Devils Tower today. The weather here is constantly changing and today (so far) looks like a perfect day with no rain in sight. But, it got pretty chilly (for us) last night and I left the window open. ?

It really is perfect. We should be there right around 9:00 am and the weather shows it being 58*.

Bob, I know you said to do the trail around the base but did you do the Red Beds trail too? We have all day and it's only a 2 hr drive so we were probably going to do both.

Yes, we did. Its a fairly easy hike and takes you farther out from the tower. Some of it was light woods and some was open prairie with good views.

We also did the Joyner Ridge trail. I would probably skip that one. You can drive over to that trail on your way out and take some pics.
