Coming down the main road in there's a pull off for the Taggart Lake trail head before entering the park. There's just awesome scenery everywhere you look and I got this shot and the second one with MP2 in it.

Our first stop this morning was at Jenny Lake. It's one of the main areas everyone goes to and others here had mentioned it too. There's a fairly easy 2.6 mile hike along the side right behind the visitors center which we did first. I figured it's an easier one for Annie to do so she doesn't get mad at me for taking her on a super hard one right off the bat. lol But tomorrow I think we'll do the one across the Lake which take you up to Inspiration Point. There was a lot of fog/clouds this morning but it does make for some good pics at times.

After Jenny Lake we headed up Teton Park Rd. (the main road going through the park) and came to the Jackson Dam.

After the dam we headed up to Colter Bay. While at the visitors center the Ranger asked if we had seen the bear across the lake. This was a good 300-400 yards away but now Annie was afraid to hike that area. I talked her into it but she insisted we get bear spray.

The drive to and from the park from Victor, ID is a really nice one over the Teton Scenic Byway which is SH-31. From Victor it's just over 22 miles of steep grades (8%-10%) and a lot of tight switchbacks. I wouldn't want to drive this in the winter let alone plow it. Pics don't do it justice but it's a fun drive.

Bear spray??? Can’t you outrun her? J/K.. you should be good this time of year. Just avoid cubs…

I haven't fished since I was like 12. Now my idea of fishing is the all you can eat fish fry at the Black Bear Diner on Friday night.

Also don’t leave any bear attractions in your truck overnight.. they’re pretty good about breaking into it, for good measure they might even take your damper to boot

It wasn’t a joke but ok the last part was.. that 9mm will just piss them off for real. You can get a heart shot and they can still run a hundred yards in about 4 seconds flat. Head shot, you’re lucky if it doesn’t ricochet and really piss them off.
Just stay safe and be mindful you’re in their territory.. My dad hunted bear and a horror story of what happened to him..
