so the past month or so the 5g has been acting a little strange.
in tow mode the 9th and 10th gear are locked out right? when ive tried it in the past thats how it was, no upper 2 gears. 3 times now ive been in tow mode on the highway and in tenth gear...
every time i get in after dark the auto headlights come on as intended etc. but the dash lights are on brightest setting. i always set mine to min setting. seems the dash lights are adjustable in any mode now, all off, auto, running lights only etc.
no more check for passengers warning when getting out or door chime.
did i monkey up some setting and not know it or does it seem strange??

As far as rear passenger chime goes, you can turn that setting off or on in entertainment system. Also I don't believe it activates if you did not open the rear door prior to driving, could be wrong there.

That's correct, it doesn't lock out tenth, just moves up shift points throughout

I have noticed strangeness after updates but I think some are in my head
tonight I had the heads up flash bright red (pre collision assist warning) split second but I was on the interstate and nothing was in front of me, then a few min. later it came back on for a second, the truck did not react in any way
earlier I ran over what was left of a deer at 70 the truck in front of me hit it, I just kind of finished it off almost didnt feel it, so I am sure it didnt hit anything under my truck

On my ‘20,
Drive gives gears 1,3,5-10.
Tow mode enables all gears, and changes the shift points to a higher RPM.
Sport mode does whatever you want, at higher RPM.
You can take gears away with the - button on the shifter- it drops 10, 9, 8 etc. each time you hit the button. Inversely, you add them back with the + button.
