Yea. The tremor is just my holdover. Damn it’s good though. I’ll miss it. I have a VIN still for a 2021.
You might just decide to keep it after driving it for a while. It is a great truck!

Hopefully you'll get your Bronco this year. Mine was always going to be a '22 but with these constraints who knows now. I'm already starting to lose excitement for it but hopefully that changes after the First McDowell event next week.

I have a time slot for that event. 11am on the first day. If you’re there that day let me know!

Hey folks,

Noticed a weird button today. I’m the first owner, so shouldn’t be anything after market.

It’s a 2021 Ranger Lariat Tremor.

Any clue what this does? Right next to the hood release. Red and black wire going back into the dash.

This is an aftermarket device...miss a payment and they likely disable your truck....

Review this thread. This is why I will not buy another vehicle from Jim Click Ford...Crooks in my opinion

Mine is on Oct 1st. I had to arrange it so my gf could get the day off too. You'll have to let me know how it is and what the course is like.

Careful, that is called the "wheels fall off truck at high speeds" button!

Chapman Jeep in Vegas installs them on their wranglers. And yes fairly certain he paid for it, mine in 2013 was $300.

Why add an anti-theft device? Don't Rangers have security installed?
There are a few reasons but the main one is that they can charge for it. The dealer wanted to send my New Lincoln through predelivery where they would install this and charge me an additional $750...I said no way as the install damages the electrical integrity of the vehicle wiring. It is installed using an Ax. Bough my Nautilus from a dealer 40 miles away to avoid having this crap installed on my Ranger and my Nautilus.. Another trick is installing Lojac. "Dealer added value"...what bs..

Phil

This. They charge to sell you the system during financing or often times sneak it into the price of the vehicle. They up-charge the system ridiculously. It's a scam. A lot of the dealers here in Vegas do it. Luckily my Ford dealership didn't install this crap, but most of the Dodge/Ram dealerships in the area do.

Just a suggestion but you could trace the wires. Or at least see if they're easy to trace by poking your head & a flashlight under there. From the location, they may go directly to the fuse box and the connection might tell you what the switch does.

Have you tried pushing/clicking it?

Old joke by Stephen Wright, but you gotta imagine it in his dry, deadpan voice:

“In my house there's this light switch that doesn't do anything. Every so often I would flick it on and off just to check. Yesterday, I got a call from a woman in Madagascar. She said, 'Cut it out.'”
