Vibration at 55mph

So i have noticed it before and now since I have installed my lift a vibration at 55mph has amplified. Has anyone had a similar deal? If it is the tires that will be corrected on Friday.

I am experiencing the same thing, mine is most pronounced at 70-75 mph. Feels like a tire and/or wheel is out of round. My tires have been road forced balanced two different times by tow companies and say the tires are good. Leads me to believe it's the Fox 2.0 leveling kit or something else related to drive train with the vehicle. I'm still trying to figure it out through process of elimination.

For that high of a speed I want to say there is a bulletin saying the alignment needs to be corrected. I seen that once at my dealership and the guy said it would be at 80.

My rwd Lariat does it at 45, super smooth on freeway.

If there's a bulletin about it I think it should be covered under warranty. That's assuming you have stock tires and suspension though so you're SOL.

All right for everyone who has been kind of curious I do have a bit of an update. Today I was playing around with the alignment machine on my truck just to check things and make sure things were settled in after running the suspension for about 3 weeks. I'm glad I did because I noticed that when I got my fat ass in the driver's seat the toll would go far out of spec. I would have to help for about 10 degrees easy between left and right. I decided to pay attention to this and fix it and see what happens on my way home. For the most part it took a lot of vibration away with the exception of low speed engine Buzz which is probably a normal thing on these. I will post a picture of what the alignment spec is going to be with the old man emu lift with no one in the driver's seat. Just be patient as it will be a few days until I get back to work.

Hi, I am having a similar issue. I installed the rough country 2.5" leveling kit with BFG KO2 275/70r/17 tires and noticed that after passing 50-55mph, there is a vibration with the car.
Not sure if anyone else has seen or had this issue. I had it aligned and balanced when put in new tires, but doesnt seem normal to me.

any help is appreciated.

I am having this same issue around 70mph. I have Icon coilovers cranked up to 3" of lift and also have Icon tubular UCAs with 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. This vibrating began after cranking the coilovers up from 2" to 3" and adding UCAs. The shop took my truck for an alignment at whatever alignment shop they use and they couldn't get it any closer than 0.4 degrees positive camber.

I think I might take it to my own local alignment shop and see what they say. Looking for answers here too.

Regarding the driveline vibration, you might want to check out the “Driveshaft Phasing” posting a few posts down from this one in this same section. I and a number of others are experiencing this vibration and I for one am completely stock - 4X4 SuperCrew. When lifting higher than stock, the driveshaft angles increase possibly amplifying this issue.
I just put on new 265/65R17 tires, so they are well balanced, had an alignment done by an expert, and the driveshaft vibration is still there.

of those who have lifted their trucks and have the vibration, how many are out of tolerance on the 4 degree limit ? how close are you to the 4 degrees?

So thankfully I looked at the angle on my front u-joint before and after and it did not change. That u-joint is at 5°, center now at 3° And rear at 5°. If the first u-joint was at 5° then the rear u-joint shouldn't be an issue. My lift didnt do blocks or shackles but instead with leafs in the rear thanks to Old Man EMU.
