Anyone know the diameter of the upper control arm bolt part number. W719497-S439?

It's just one bolt all the way through for the entire upper arm and I just need to know the diameter.

Can't be 9/16" Gotta be metric...Probably 14mmm x 1.5 or 2.0 if course thread...

best,
Phil
Yea I agree I saw the calipers and was like that can't be 9/16. In the end I needed to know what size inner sleeve to get for the arms I'm designing, and inner sleeves designed for a 9/16 fit the bill. It was either that or inner sleeves designed for 5/8, which works for the lower arm, but not the upper.

You are correct, I should have said that it's somewhere between 9/16 and 1/2.

Designing these arms has me really stressed out, there is so much involved.

Nice! Is the UCA using stock mounting location?
Yea and it sat flush with the 3 inch level, like the uniball was even at ride height and had equal bump and droop. But tbh when I started my mechanical engineering degree I had a passion form this but it's on hold because I have a second kid on the way and I'm designing a house right now so I have no time for this project.

The engine bay sheet metal was in the way of the up travel so I would have to cut into that to get all the travel.

That’s understandable, family first! When you do get around to it, don’t forget about us desert geeks, would like to see the finished project one day.

I finished about a month ago. +5" control arms, but only prototypes

Curious if you'd sell prints for design to create my own just .5 shorter. That way I'd be able to use off shelf 2021 bronco long travel axles

You don't want my designs. The geometry is off it was really difficult lol.

Lol ok. Yea I ended up buying a lower control arm and upper just to get measurements. I'm going to do what baja designs and rpg did amd keep all geometry same other than making wider. What I am trying to do too is make new taller bronco height shock towers to run bronco shocks instead up front.

Yea I just added 5 inches to the stock arms dimensions and it didn't work. And accounted for a 3 inch higher ride height in the front so the arms had a kick built in but idk everything bolted up and cycled but the knuckle was leaning in.

My fixtures seemed to be spot on since the arms slid into the frame mounts effortlessly and cycled flawlessly, however my dimensions of the arms must have had a bad design in terms of overall length or with the angles on the "kicks."

I remember going back and forth on whether I should simply increase the arms 5 inches or extend the arms but keep the same ratio. I figured I would just add 5 inches to both to keep the knuckle upright, and then the knuckle ended up leaning in, hah!

I believe the kicks in the arms are the culprit. I added these kicks because my ranger is leveled 3 inches in the front so I wanted that ride height to be the middle of the travel.
