aww man so they are different, well thatās a bummer. Now ya gotta wait for the correct pair. Hopefully they give ya a little percentage back of what you paid for the inconvenience.
Yes, they used my stock cv ends. The tripod should go in. You might have to tap it with a mallet if it doesnāt feel like itās going in. It might be pressed in from the factory.
For reference, ORW charged $250 for one axle and $300 for the other. I took them in at separate times.
if you wanna save money and still try it yourself, I think a tool like this might work, although im Not 100% sure it will work but from watching some videos it looks pretty promising. Last...
Hey 916ranger, there is a clip underneath the bearing race that is a huge pain to remove. I tried doing that same on my own, then took it to an axle shop. They couldnāt do it either without saying they might damage the axle.
I ended up taking it to ORW and they cut off the axle near the bearing...
Iām running 255/80/17 in those. Have about 16k miles on them. Great all around tire. Great in dirt/sand, have taken them off-road many times and also really good in the rain. Quiet too, no extra road noise since I bought them.
Liking all the progress! Cant wait to see how the rear end turns out with the spring under setup.

Seems like everythingās needs...
And no i wouldnāt leave my truck looking all goofy. Oh and tires, Iām running 33ā. 255/80/17. No rubbing issues. I am running bds crash bars in the front and rear.
You are correct, these are the 3ā wide fiberwerx. I had them installed by fiberwerx before I installed my Bajakits.
As for the axles. I took out my axle and took them to ORW to have them install the extended shaft on stock joints. I then installed the rest of the kit myself, upper/lower arms...
Got it. Iām running the 3inch fiberwerx glass and have 2 inch rear spacers to push my wheels out. I looked into f150 rear axles but they have a different bolt pattern.
Not sure if you know if itās possible, but can axles be extended? Like our stock one? Iāve seen an axle for sale in my area for...
