Unscrupulous accessories sale persons - let the buyer beware.

The 2019 Ford Ranger has been out in "normal production" at least since Jan/2019 yet for some reason the third party vendors were caught flat-footed by the Ranger demand.

I tried to buy 3 accessories from AVS (In-channel vent visor deflector - for Supercab), Weathertech (for vinyl floor) front floor cupping matts and the Bakflip Tonneau Cover MX4 for the 6' bed. In all cases, their downstream vendors claimed that had the product but the original manufacturer did not. All three vendors wanted their funds "now" but neglected to say when their product(s) would be available. In most cases, the accessories were delayed for several weeks and even months. They must be on commission or they want to hold your money (interest free float) or until the product comes out to lock you in for the sale.

Thanks Ranger5g for providing the means to check on what accessories are available, the "user feedback" on the products and when they are shipping. I rather wait to see the user feedback before purchasing an accessory and not waste my money.

I've been working @PandaMotorworks and they have delays in products from the upline that they have offered and sold. You just need to be patient and understanding. All of the vendors have to get their hands on a real vehicle to do the measurements and fitment and if you don't understand that then you need to just buy from the ford authorized accessories catalog which has been previously set up by FORD.

You could be the perfect fit for a Ford sales person. There is no way that I will pay up for Ford accessories when I can get the same quality for a lessor price. What irks me the most is these third party vendors advertise non existent products hoping to get some suckers to bite.

CARID did the same thing with me they got my money March 8th for Dee Zee side rails and they got my money immediately as they had them is stock. BS. They were not manufactured for the Ranger until the end of April. I received a broken box missing half the order. I contacted Dee Dee directly and they said they would ship out what I need to install the rails last Monday and I am still waiting for the rest of the bolt on package.

Thank you for the kind words! We are doing our best to keep up on these manufactures. the in channel for example was a shame they had a product that people returned so they looked into why and are almost done with v2 production to ship out!

we are the middle man and can only give the updates given from the manufacture. we do everything possible to keep them true to that or get a rebate or some free goods if willing to throw in for the wait time.

Add BAK industries to the list. They have promised the 6-foot MX4 several times, each time pushing the date back. Now they say that they have NO DATE for expected shipping.
HORRIBLE experience. I cancelled my order.
