If they ate the Soy based wiring covers on top of your engine you can do what Ford should have done in the first place and that is install an engine cover. it covers most of the wires in the “Picnic Area” on top. i also spray a peppermint smelling deterant. And plan on hanging a rice filled bag...

what Kills me about this is that I traded in my 460 HP 2018 Mustang GT for this 4 banger and the mustang got 18mpg around town and 28 on the highway.

I average 17 on a good day. I only bought the Ranger over the Tacoma because it got better gas mileage. I paid thru the nose for the Ranger and could have gotten a great deal on the Tacoma. It did not pay off.
