Like a dummy I trusted him and sent money on Cashapp. You may also be aware that Cashapp will not help. This member will not answer PM’s and has not been on since

Ya sent them a heads up. Tried PP. and said it never showed up on his account. I have disputed at bank. But probably won’t happen

I try to use PayPal too when possible. I've bought a few things from a couple bad sellers on eBay and another site and PayPal took care of it. For added protection on PayPal link your credit card and use that when checking out instead of your bank account as most cc companies have their own fraud protection.

Sorry Ron this happened to you but unfortunately there are scammers everywhere even on here I guess. I'm a believer of Karma and he'll get his one day but that won't get you your money back.

Yep you’re probably right. Likely just checks forums for wanted ads and says he has or knows someone with the item then collects money and disappears. I’d be willing to bet this isn’t the first time and won’t be his last.

Definitely don’t use Cashapp. I should have checked his profile and saw he just joined. What upsets me is Cashapp asks for CC. Then takes it out of your debit so now bank can’t recover

I don't understand how they took it from your debit if they had your CC? Was this a debit card that can be both debit and credit? I don't have a debit for this very reason,only use my Capital One Visa. Not to add insult to injury but I never do business with anyone who has no posts on any forum.
