Do you have navigation? I leave it on there and it's useful for telling me the street name & speed limit for whichever street i'm on. Useful when you're in unfamiliar places.
I do have nav however I have never liked a built in navigation system. I always resort to waze/google/map apps. When I put it on the nav screen it just shows a digital compass using the other apps.

Yeah i only use google maps/waze on trips, so i seldom plug my phone in thereby getting useful info from that small nav screen.

Bought my ranger last week. So far it is the most uncomfortable vehicle I have ever been in or owned. During the test drives it seemed fine but after driving 30+ mins at a time it is just the worst.

I can not for the life of me find a comfortable seating position at all.

The suspension is like I am riding around a in a bounce house. I have never been in a vehicle so bouncy. Something else I did not notice when test driving.

Anyone else have these issues? I can deal with the bounciness but the uncomfortable seat might just make me get rid of it.

Mine rides better than any truck I have ever owned. Mine is a Lariat 4WD with Sport, Off Road, and Towing packages.

They probably never realized the bullet they just dodged.
They weren't such bad cars for the time. Better track record than the Jetta and Nissan Stanza of the day, and we put a lot on the road trading folks out of Yugo GVs and Renault Alliances. I had several for demos, comfortable little car, but lousy gas milage.

By far the Ranger is the least comfortable FMC vehicle I have owned. Just took it on a 1k mile trip to south Fl and am already dreading the ride back after the new year. This is not my first small truck have had 87 Mazda B2600 and a 93 Mazda B2000 which both were more comfortable and drove better.
Only worse riding vehicle I have ever owned was a 1980 Lancia Zagato which I think was an original Teddy Roosevelt “Rough Rider”.

"My Ranger" is THE best riding truck I've ever owned and I've driven a ton of competitive vehicles during my career at Ford and GM. I just can't stop driving it for any reason. My wife laughs at my parsley run that sometimes takes 3 hours to complete:giggle:

It sucks for you guys who are having the opposite experience:crying:

Glad your happy, wished I could say the same. Can’t compare my 17 King Ranch to the Ranger comfort wise but presently mileage on the KR is even better. However will admit the transmission in the Ranger is much smoother than the 10 spd in the KR.
Will hang with this thing for a while but not sure over the long run.

I looked hard at a nice F-150 Lariat with the 3.5EB in it, it was $17k off sticker, but I couldn't make the numbers work the way I wanted, so I wound up with the ranger instead. Good thing too, the F-150 never would've fit in the tiny garage I get here in SoCal...lol

My TRX was a 5spd, whereas the automatic didn't have overdrive.
Trip mileage was in the 36-39MPG range... 27MPG around town.
I always hated automatics, but it appears they are now finally starting to get them right.

I'm a lifelong manual driver, but I see basically no point trying to get one on a new car.

Owned an '87, '92 and '01 new Rangers, my 2019 is like driving a Lincoln town car in comparison, they somehow made it haul and tow well in the bargain.
Your experience is absolutely perplexing.

Well if you dont like the ranger ride or seat then you are a ranger oddball . Ford ranger doesn't use your type to design their trucks.

Supposed to 30, unless the 2WD versions are different than the 4X4's. Yes, it does make a difference. Mine was the same way until I found the tires were overinflated when I left the dealership.
Mine came with 30 from the factory, and the tires felt super bouncy. After adding a bit of pressure it smoothed out.
