Who wants an update???

I spent the week hemming and hawing:
- Do I want to wait for a 2024 Ranger?
- Do I want to get a 2023 Colorado instead?
- Do I want to go with something completely different?
- Am I willing to get a Tremor that's not Azure Gray?
- What about options? What can/can't I live without?

Well, here's the latest...

Yesterday I emailed back and forth with a nearby dealer who had a 2023 Cactus Gray Lariat Tremor in stock. MSRP was $47,200 or something like that. They had an ADM of $5,000 for a grand total of $52,200. I said "I'm interested if you're willing to get rid of the ADM." They said "We're a no haggle dealership. That's the price you pay." I said "Thanks. Good luck with the sale." Last night they reduced the price online by $5,000. Hmm...

But, in the meantime I found an AGM XLT Tremor a few hours away listed at MSRP. My original Tremor had the tow package, bed utility package, and the 302A package (XLT high). This one has the tow package, remote start, and 301A. Meaning, the differences between this one and the one that got totaled are:
- no bed utility package (which I hated, and removed, anyway)
- no manual sliding rear window (which... what's the point?)
- no power drivers and passengers seats (not a huge loss)
- no heated side view mirrors (the only thing I feel like I'll miss)

So yeah... put a hold down on that and I'll have to find the time to fly out there with a briefcase full of cash and complete the sale. Then I'll drive it home and throw my A pillar lights and topper back on. So I'll hopefully be a full fledged 5G Ranger owner and active member of the forums again soon!

I really hope that the dealership with the Cactus Tremor replies. Then I can Pretty Woman them... "You get paid on commission, right? Big Mistake! Huge!"

Hope you get the one you want. They are becoming harder to find.

Sounds great, Aaron, but I would insist on passenger seat….?
