TSB: SSM 47802 - 2019 Ranger - Front License Tag Bracket Installation

Some 2019 Ranger vehicles equipped with a front license plate bracket noted on the loose items check sheet. May exhibit missing instructions for installation at Pre-delivery. Looking at the tag bracket front side, there is an arrow cast into the middle bar; Arrow needs to point up when properly installed. To install, with bracket arrow up, insert the 2 upper brackets (hooks no holes) into the matching slots on the steel bumper, centered 6” below the Ford Oval. Press into position until Hooks are snapped into the slots on both sides, press towards the steel bumper until the lower brackets line up with holes on the bottom of the bumper. Install the screws provided to secure the bracket, torque to 4.8 Nm (43 lb–in).

FYI: Found my front license plate bracket jammed under the drivers seat. Found it after adjusting the power seat and it sounded “funny”. Not sure if this was a dealer placement or factory since Florida doesn’t require front plates.

Is it notes on your window sticker as an option item, it's listed on mine as MT requires front plates.
