I have this issue too, sometimes only after sitting for a day. I suspect it’s my ham radio though that’s wired directly to my battery. Even thought it’s off when I turn the truck off, I suspect it’s drawing a little bit of power. When my truck is on my voltage is 14.5 so I know my alternator is gtg.

Here's my latest update. I set the target charge to 85%, disconnect my light bar from the battery and put a battery tender on for 12 hours. Light was green in the tender when I took it off Saturday. Later that evening we drove 30 minutes to get dinner and do a little shopping then another 30 minutes back. Everything worked as it should(no deep sleep when parking). Today Sunday I didn't drive anywhere and got the message in the evening.

I reached out to ford customer service and they put me in touch with a specialist. They offered to make a service appointment for me for a "full diagnosis" I won't have time for that for at least a week but I'll report back when I get it in for service again.
I'll be very interested in what your dealer says.

After having it at 80, there has been no difference that I can tell. Most of the trips have been 15 minutes, but that was true in the past too when I didn't get this message.

FWIW, I get the message within 3 minutes of turning off the truck. Every time.

In case it matters, I have SYNC 3, version 3.4 Build 21194_Product

I had the same issue. It was a bad battery that was replaced under warranty.

Just created an account here to research this issue. For about a month my 2020 Ranger has been going into Deep Sleep mode after every time I drive it. I don't drive it daily so I tried charging the battery but the issue still persists.

It's due for an oil change in a couple weeks so I'll have them check the battery at that time. There has also been loud sets of three chimes when starting the truck and I don't know if that's related to this problem or not. (This is louder than the standard chimes for no seat belt.) I'm hopeful all it needs is a new battery although the current OEM one is only a couple years old.

Of course one day after I post this things look like they're back to normal. After driving the truck last night I got a message on my app that the FordPass Connect has been updated to the latest software version and I simply need to start the vehicle to reactive remote start and lock/unlock. Now when starting the truck the chimes are back to the normal ones for the seatbelt and I didn't receive the Deep Sleep message after turning it off. I should mention prior to this I turned off the Wifi connection for my truck and a couple of other things that I thought might cause battery drain. Whether this had anything to do with the software update message and the truck working normally now I have no idea.

Well hopefully this is my last chapter. I started getting deepsleep notifications again. Took it back to the dealership and they found a bad cell in the battery. They replaced it under warranty and now everything is working again. Even the auto start/stop started working again.

After the battery replacement, my Auto Stop/Start did not start working again. The tech forgot to connect a small wire that is hidden under the positive terminal. I just connected it and hopefully it is all back to normal.

Perhaps unrelated, but I had the thought that the only thing that might stay on after I parked was the wifi it uses to connect to my house for updates. I found it was connecting to Xfinity, which we don't have and is a very weak signal. I changed that to my very powerful home wifi, and I have not had the issue in the day since.

Yesterday I also had a longer than usual trip, so maybe the battery is more topped off?

I can't back it up, but I've heard that Xfinity piggybacks wifi over the electrical outlets in some locations. I get it showing up sometimes in my wifi menu, usually it's too weak to use.

I never made it back to the dealer as I've needed my truck since I last posted. What I did figure out is after a full charge on a battery charger I'm only seeing 12.34 volts. It does test "good" on the part store tester but I'm pretty sure there is a dying cell.

Like I said I don't feel like hassling with a dealer on a truck that I technically don't own right now. Maybe I'll try a different dealer eventually

Since switching to my home router, I've not had the issue. My truck even remote started today using the app. Feels like success.

I finally took my truck to the dealer. They had it for 10 days. Battery tested good multiple times. Feild engineer looked at. They finally had to call Ford. BMS and battery replaced. Seems like a faulty BMS which then weakened the battery.

Turns out I have been having this intermittently. Sometimes after a couple days, sometimes overnight after driving it the day before. Unlike most other posters, I have no electrical mods yet. Completely factory.

Think this lends credence to the theory this is a battery issue that still tests as "good battery" as mentioned by a couple of members above.

EDIT: It is also currently not cold here, so that ain't it.

Not sure yet
The trucks internal modem/telematics seems to be the issue here based on what I've read here and other posts??:inspect: Seems everytime Ford does an update or is downloading your specific vehicles info (weird noises people hear), that's when issues seem to pop up. Not a tech expert, but watching the issues and patterns from the bleacher seats....does not help me while waiting for my second attempt at an order :(
