Can you post pictures? I want to see the Baja UCA on the truck, the LCA cam bolts, front view of the tires planted on the ground.
It was only a problem at max droop, however binding is the last thing I want when desert wheeling. Also I assumed I would just burn through ball joints if I left them stock. The guy who sells the 2” tremor lift clearly stated that you wouldn’t absolutely need new UCAs if you drive a mall crawler but they would definitely benefit from off road use.Gotcha. Guess surprised to hear that 2” level was causing problems with the stock arm.
Very true, however I am extremely pleased with the fox 2.0’s for now and don’t plan on changing them anytime soon. The whole idea behind it was to be able to run a new and bigger tire (Falken Wildpeak AT3w 285/70/17). More lift = Bigger Tires = More ground clearance.A spacer lift isn’t beneficial for off-roading anyways. It will give you more body clearance, but no further articulation and suspension travel. Plus as we are seeing they mess with geometry.
I run those tires at that size on my stock Tremor suspension. No rubbing when switched crash bars to ReadyLift.Very true, however I am extremely pleased with the fox 2.0’s for now and don’t plan on changing them anytime soon. Phew that UCA looks nice.
Already installed readylift crash bars as well. Like I said I plan to wheel this truck pretty hard and would rather be safe with a small leveling lift and not run on trails. Also my leveled tremor looks fantastic with no rake.I run those tires at that size on my stock Tremor suspension. No rubbing when switched crash bars to ReadyLift.
Yea you can see what I mean by how much more range I get with the uniball compared to stock. Do you have a lift on yours as well?Phew that UCA looks nice.
Here is what my tremor with the 2” FRL spacer looks like.

I wheel mine as well. Spacer lifts don’t help with anything off-roading except maybe to fit bigger tires, which aren’t needed to fit 285s.Already installed readylift crash bars as well. You’re not hearing what I’m saying. I don’t care if you’re running 285s on stock with just the readylifts bars. I’m saying that I’m taking this truck through the desert to Johnson valley and wheeling it hard and I bet you $1,000 that without a leveling lift you would 100% rub your tires on the trials. I also have a -12 offset on my wheels, there is no doubt that I needed a little bit more room. Also as I have already stated I did it for the LEVELING LIFT. I don’t like having rake on my truck or the way it looks.I wheel mine as well. Spacer lifts don’t help with anything off-roading except maybe to fit bigger tires, which aren’t needed to fit 285s.
Yea my bad dude I lacked on reading that. Also I’m assuming our cam bolts are at such different angles because the Baja Kits UCAs are so beefy, also their obviously a bit longer which is why I can’t get it to align properly.@RangerStranger dude…. Idk how many times I can post I have the same 2” ford ranger lift level kit
$1,500 for UCAs is insane. They look awesome but Jesus that’s steep. Do you have a leveling kit on your Tremor as well?I may have been mentioned but six pages was a lot to scroll through for the lazy in me. I have the @SVC Offroad billet upper control arms on my 21 ford ranger tremor and love them.
