First post. I picked up mine last week. I was cross shopping between the Tremor and the FX4. My wife said get the "Baby Raptor". LOL! That was that.

Mine came with the factory graphics but I had the red stripes removed. I test drove all the midsize 2021 trucks: Tacoma TRD, GMC Canyon AT4, Nissan Frontier Pro4X. I liked the Ranger's powertrain the best. I also feel the Ranger Tremor had the best ride and handling. I did like the '22 Frontier....but it looks so much like the Tacoma! WTH? And even with 315 hp, the Frontier didn't feel as quick as the Ranger. Needed revs like the GMC Canyon.

When I picked her up:

Hi everyone! I have a '22 Lariat Tremor on order, with a production date the week of Jan 3rd. I'm getting excited. I have never had a truck before, and never done mods on a vehicle before. Planning to get the Livernois tune installed after about 1000 miles, and the Raptor grill, tailgate damper, Ranger tailgate letters, and probably a full Dynamat install too. I'd like some wider looking tires, but 285's seem like a lot of work and expense to get them fit properly, so I will likely go with Bora 1.25" spacers for now. Holding off on performance mods until I see how the 93 tune runs. I'd also like to see more performance data on intake/exhaust/intercooler upgrades - there seems to be way too much hearsay and not enough before/after dyno charts to actually show the difference.
Anyway, hello. I will have to post some pics when I pick her up. :)

I too ordered a '22 Lariat Tremor and my production date is the week of Jan 3rd. Just curious, when did you order yours? I ordered my Sep. 30.

Ordered mine around 10/11…
You must have ordered a ‘21 and had it converted. I ordered mine just a few days after the ‘22’s came online in the order system.

I picked up a 2021 Ford Ranger Lariat Tremor on Sat Nov 20. I just happened to luck into it when I was shopping around for something to replace my '18 JLU Rubicon. I was planning on getting a Tacoma TRD Pro/Offroad, but after trying to sit in one... yeah... nope. I happened to see a Ranger as I was driving back home after checking out what all the dealerships had to offer. I went home and was looking into the Ranger and checking out how it compared to other trucks out there. Started building one to see how difficult it would be to find one available or without too long a wait. A dealership not 10 minutes away had one in Shadow Black. Called and he said it just became available. I went and test drove it and ended up buying it.

I also ordered the eco boost, folding bed cover, and a few other things with it and am just waiting for them to be delivered to the dealership.

I been really enjoying driving it around since I picked it up. I really can't wait to drive it after the eco boost arrives and gets installed. It definitely has punch than the Rubicon in acceleration and the steering is a lot tighter and sensitive as well.

I do miss the sound system I had in the Rubicon, but the B&O speakers aren't too shabby. Will probably add a amp/sub once I figure out where I will place them.

Plan on taking it off roading here in the next few weeks and seeing what it can do compared to my Rubicon that was traded in.

My Lariat Tremor will also replace a 2018 JLUR! Mohito green. Fun car, but not the best daily driver. ? I was hoping you’d say the B&O was better… oh well. At least a lot less road noise!

Coming from the Rubicon... All I can say is what road noise? The Tremor to me is very quiet compared to the roud and wind noise of the Rubicon (hardtop). The Tremor rides very quiet.

Don't get me wrong the B&O sounds really good and very clear. It has decent bass and maybe just as loud. It just didn't have the ummph when the lows would drop in a song. The bass is good in the B&O speakers just not like the Alpine quad voice coil sub that was in the rubicon. I am sure there is something just as good if not better that can be put in the Tremor. Just gotta do some research to find it.

Also if you are tall like I am, you might bang your shins up some on the sidesteps until you get used to them being there when getting into the truck.

All in all I am really happy with the new ride and if the only thing I can say I am not excited about it the lack of bass, then I am a happy camper.

When will you be getting your Lariat Tremor?

It’s scheduled to be built the week of Jan 3rd, so soon after that I hope.

The Ruby radio was pretty nice. I thought the Ranger would have less road noise though. I was expecting it to be about as quiet as the 2016 Explorer Ltd I had, but at least the dealer’s 2021 Ranger was not (being 5-6 years newer). I’m prepared to break out the Dynamat if mine’s not quieter.

I think you will be happy with the quietness of the truck then. It is quiet, I want to say it is as quiet as the 2018 Explorer I bought the wife two days after I picked up the Tremor. I have driven both and also just rode in the Explorer on highway and inner city.

I don't hear the road noise and you don't have the constant wind noise when driving like you would in the Rubicon (at least with hardtops).
