The steps can be a PITA but what is worse is no grab handle on the drivers side, if you had that the steps would be fine

I just grab onto the steering wheel. If the steps weren't already on there when I bought it I wouldn't buy them as they get in the way more than they help. But my gf only being 5' and a bad knee needs them. The steps can be a PITA but what is worse is no grab handle on the drivers side, if you had that the steps would be fine
I agree and I hope they add the side grab handles on the next Gen like on the Bronco. I test drove one on Friday and it was nice to have these built in on both sides and one on the center console.Yeah I grab the wheel as well, but the grab handle would give you better leverage, dumb design on both fronts
You could get a single step for the passenger side, it's what I did for my wife...?I just grab onto the steering wheel. If the steps weren't already on there when I bought it I wouldn't buy them as they get in the way more than they help. But my gf only being 5' and a bad knee needs them.
? I have no idea what she's going to do once I get my Bronco because that's going to be a lot higher and no way I'm putting steps on it.
That's what I told her I was going to do. Get her a small little fold up step and keep it behind the seat. We have one so she can reach the upper cabinets in the kitchen. ?You could get a single step for the passenger side, it's what I did for my wife...?

I am going to get rock sliders so hopefully I can find a set that she can use as a step. It comes with factory sliders but they're only body mounted and I want frame mounted ones.
I just grab the steering wheel if I need to, maybe give that a try.The steps can be a PITA but what is worse is no grab handle on the drivers side, if you had that the steps would be fine
Oh no that would drive me insane, I just gave in and use the steps even though I do not need it....considering I am not a tall person, I just wonder if there is some safety metric as to why they made them standard.Couldn't you just remove your driver door step and leave the other 3 for the wife and kids? May look dumb but at least it won't be in your way any more...
Congrats, I think you will love it. Maybe some things different than the Toyota but hopefully you enjoy the truck. I was just getting the oil change on mine today and all the Rangers at the dealer had a $2500 markup, F150 were $5000 markup. These were STX FX4 and such, not even XLT. They were now basically priced what the XLT Tremor we got was stickered at. Can't believe it. Also do not understand how some people hate on the price of the Tremor, think it is a great value.![]()
Picking up my iconic silver one this week. I really wanted the cactus grey, but I couldn’t pass up the offer from a dealer closer to me. Coming from a V8 4runner and owning Toyotas my whole life will make this transition interesting.
Slightly jealous! I wish there was a white one readily available in my area. I settled for silver.Wow, my tremor just showed up at the dealership over a week ahead of schedule! Too bad I don't have my F150 ready to trade in yet, I thought I had the weekend. Just need to rip out the touch screen, dash cameras, brake controller, and some hidden USB ports. The magnetic bumpers and wheel arches really pop with the white, I'm in love already.

Absolutely think it’s worth it. On my last truck I installed similar shocks, 33” tires and wheels and it set me back for about the same amount. Can’t wait to take it to the trails. Those of you that have been on trails already, what do you think of the General tires? I am actually quite impressed by them. Been on sand, gravel uphills, rocky uphills, just good grip all around. My only comparison are the Nitto Ridge Grapplers which are also good but I honestly think I will at least stick with these tires till they wear. The General tires are more quiet on road which is whatever, not a big deal but I suspect better MPG with the Generals due to the shape. I am not yet sure I would buy them. I will wait till I put them through the sand in Sand Hollow Park in Utah.
The sidewalls are probably my biggest point of interest since I have a lot of rocks in the desert but so far no issues there. The impacts I have spotted did not cut the tire.
Just gotta get my lights and level kit already.

When I got my Tremor in April from another dealer it was a $500 markup but the factory rebates basically washed that out.
