The wait is almost over. I fear this will be the longest long weekend though…. I got the call from my salesman that my truck arrived this morning. I am off today, but… I wasn’t expecting the truck for a couple weeks. I have to call for my A-Plan PIN. I am also searching for a BAK revolver X4S that is available and not $1,500. I guess it’s time to move my Amazon cart to checkout.

How am I going to wait until Tuesday?!?

I have a X4S on my tremor and absolutely love it. Great cover. Sturdy, fits well and can be used with some bed racks like RCI’s

Good news, the PIN came in after an hour. Picked up the truck this afternoon. I like almost everything on the truck so far. I can tell you, the texture on the hoop steps is sharp. I’ve been bit twice already. Once getting out of the truck for the first time, when I thought I would step out over the step. A second time when I leaned-in through the drivers door.

Congrats, the Tremor is a fun package. The steps, I just gave in and use them to avoid getting bit. My wife and kids need them otherwise I would unbolt them and leave the bar there. Check the thread in here about it. Looks quite good if you do not need the step portion.

Couldn't you just remove your driver door step and leave the other 3 for the wife and kids? May look dumb but at least it won't be in your way any more...

The steps can be a PITA but what is worse is no grab handle on the drivers side, if you had that the steps would be fine

I just grab onto the steering wheel. If the steps weren't already on there when I bought it I wouldn't buy them as they get in the way more than they help. But my gf only being 5' and a bad knee needs them.

? I have no idea what she's going to do once I get my Bronco because that's going to be a lot higher and no way I'm putting steps on it.

Yeah I grab the wheel as well, but the grab handle would give you better leverage, dumb design on both fronts

I agree and I hope they add the side grab handles on the next Gen like on the Bronco. I test drove one on Friday and it was nice to have these built in on both sides and one on the center console.

You could get a single step for the passenger side, it's what I did for my wife...?

That's what I told her I was going to do. Get her a small little fold up step and keep it behind the seat. We have one so she can reach the upper cabinets in the kitchen. ?

I am going to get rock sliders so hopefully I can find a set that she can use as a step. It comes with factory sliders but they're only body mounted and I want frame mounted ones.

I got my Carbonized Grey Lariat Tremor in April and I absolutely love it! I was looking at Tacoma TRD Pro's and stumbled across a video for the Tremor online and immediately changed my plans. I was able to find the Carbonized Grey one already coming in to the dealer, and just had to wait impatiently for about three weeks for it to get there. Like so many of you, I really liked the stance and capabilities right from the factory, so it was a great deal for me. I've added a Gator tri fold hard tonneau cover, bed mat, swing case storage box, and I just got some Rough Country ditch lights to install. I also plan to install two six inch light bars in the front bumper.

I just grab the steering wheel if I need to, maybe give that a try.

Oh no that would drive me insane, I just gave in and use the steps even though I do not need it....considering I am not a tall person, I just wonder if there is some safety metric as to why they made them standard.
