What do y'all use for small trash items as you're rolling down the highway? Plastic bag from car wash hanging from directional light control? Other?

Throw it out the window?

kidding. I honestly don't generate much trash in the car. I don't eat in the cars unless on a road trip, and in those cases trash goes back into the bag I was toting it in. I know, I'm boring.

Best thing about high sided rubber floor mats. Throw trash in the passenger floorboard, pick it all up when I get home. :like:

I’ve had the crazy idea for a while for manufacturers to build cars with under-seat trash compactors. Motorized drawer slides out, trash in, drawer closes and compacts, deposits into easily removable bin for occasional emptying.

edit: dammit

Got a small cloth collapsing tote that hangs off back of passenger seat. Just reach around and drop. Out of sight and easy to empty
Exactly!
I have a flashlight stuck in the rear of the front passenger seat, with a supermarket plastic bag hooked on it.
Dual purpose.
Easy.
