transfer case and transmission leak?

Hi All,

I went under my car to look around and found what looks like a dried up fluid residue stemming in between the transmission and transfer case.

There is no fresh oil, just hard dirty gunk.

I'm going to clean the area with brake cleaner and keep an eye on it.

Has anyone seen this issue in their 4x4 10r80?

Simply clean it and recheck it later. Could be some road grime.
