Went for a quick run to pick up groceries and was greeted with this…
I assumed a faulty TPMS sensor but checked the tire pressure to make sure it wasn’t simply low. It was fine and there is no numerical value for one of the tires when I check the Tire Pressure screen; just “- - -“.
So, it looks like I’ll need a new sensor. $50 plus installation, possibly balancing…? ?
Or could it be that it just needs to be reprogrammed? Programming tools are inexpensive and I’d like to avoid a trip to the tire shop.
Maybe another member or our good friend, @Discount Tire , knows if these sensors sometimes get a case of gremlins and just need to be reprogrammed.
It’s a bummer but check out that sweet XLT Instrument Cluster - if @AzScorpion is lucky, his Lariat Tremor got upgraded to the XLT cluster.
