Hey,

For those that made changes, what would be your top 10? I think the ASS would the first... What other things have you done when plugging in?

Thx

These are the ones I've found worthwhile, and there were already 10 of them!
  1. Disable double honk when closing door with engine running
  2. Panic activate with 2x press on fob
  3. Secure idle (fob must be in truck to shift out of park)
  4. Bambi mode (high beams and fog lights on simultaneously)
  5. Welcome Goodbye Backlighting (disable bright white screens when doors are opened with truck off)
  6. Traffic Sign Recognition
  7. Off road gauges
  8. Silent mode on dash (disables sounds and interior/exterior lights when opening doors)
  9. Digital MPG gauge
  10. Terrain Management
Seatbelt alarm can be disabled through Forscan, but it creates a trouble code, and there's another way to do it in the manual where you do the unbuckling/ignition cycling thing.

Great list! Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Having looked through many threads, I settled on the following as the ones.

  1. Fog Lights and High Beams (BCM), - Bambi mode
  2. Software Engine Sound Disable (ACM) - Fake engine sounds
  3. Panic Activate (BCM) - Requires 2 presses on the remote to active panic
  4. Traffic Sign Recognition (IPC) + Traffic Sign Recognition (IPMA) - Speed sign detection by camera and display on dash
  5. Battery Target State 90% (BCM) - Works for me to reduce frequency of vehicle going into power save mode.
  6. Frost Telltale Enable (IPC) - Kind of a fluff addition that displays a frost icon on the dash when it's cold
  7. Seat Button Icons (APIM) - Heated Seat icons in Sync3 system, just for convenience.

Software Engine Sound Disable (ACM) - Fake engine sounds
I thought about this one, too, but read somewhere that this also disables noise cancellation in the cab. Is this true?

Thanks! Great list.

When I did this the list of functions in the ACM showed everything to do with noise cancelling disabled and the software engine noise on.

I disabled the software engine noise and enabled noise cancelling and all three noise cancelling mics. It was quite dramatic how much quieter the cabin was after doing this.

Thanks for the update! This is definitely on my list.

I liked to ask if the forscan could be used so i could have all doors open (supercab) and just the radio on without interior lights , and if i use that tool will it void my warranty ? I thought i read on here the dealer would know i was in there and would be mad at me.
