I know. I see it on the news here.
The best part is the only reason florida man is so notorious is our laws allow people to have those crimes broadcast which is unlike the majority of the country they have more strict privacy laws

Doesn't affect me as much as working folks, since I don't drive much.
But it eventually will. With all the city/state vehicles on the road this will up their budget and we all know where that money will come from. Higher taxes.

Yeah, with assessments up on house values while prices are dropping taxes will suck.

Snow removal has to be a pretty big budget there. If these fuel prices continue like they are now I can only imagine what the new rates will be. I'm expecting out HOA to raise their rates again because I'm sure the landscapers are going to up their rates.

We have seen it the last two assessments. Not as much on the house, but we have a vacant lot next door. The last assessment doubled, in one year. :0

There is a lot of inflation baked into the cake that nobody is talking about.

Idaho is stuck over $5 unless you go to Costco
Where do you Fuel?!? My folks in the north panhandle are paying $4.50 on the high end.
Down southern end of the state I’m paying $4.82.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say your near McCall/ Cascade. Lol

Here in Meridian it is 5.04-5.09 except Costco which dropped to 4.89. Last time in McCall it was 5.49. Heading there Friday.

Who has it at 4.82?

I am laying here, trying to contain my anger, listening to a bunch of Wall Street economists on the business channel, talk about how great the Fed’s latest announcement is because they left the door open to ease off on inflation.

I am thinking, what about the person who can’t afford to buy bread today, because they spent all their money on gas?

Of course, I know the answer they would give, “Let them eat cake!”

FWIW, I live south east of Boston. Regular gas peaked at $5.09 at the stations I frequent at the beginning of July. It has been going down a few cents every couple of days since and this morning I gas'd up for $4.19. if I wanted to travel a few miles you can buy gas for under $4.00 per gallon.
