Too much gas in tank?

On some of the GM trucks, if you kept filling after click off, you could cause the little carbon balls in the canister to float up and clog fuel, vent, etc. lines. All sorts of strange fuel sensor related codes could be thrown when that happened.

I a,m unfamiliar with how Ford does the fuel tank, evap, etc. design so I don’t know if it applies to the Ranger, but if it persists after running the tank down and refilling to the first click off, a shop can probably tell you.

First question: how did you do this? If you were topping off after the nozzle shuts off this is exactly why you shouldnt do that lol
Second question: what does it say you should do?
I just went to autozone and rest it.

Gas was only 4.38 a gallon. I knew better.

Still over 4 over there thats rough we are at 3.80 something here finally
I wish we were under $4.00 here. It never seems to go down and when it does it's only a few cents.
