Tonneau Covers - Extang VS Bakflip MX4

I was offered two quotes for tonneau covers from LINEX, can anyone offer any insight as to which one of these covers is better? Or if you can recommend another cover?

Bakflip - 1550.00 CAD

Ive had the MX4 for almost 2 years, still looks/works great with minimal water leakage. I do not know anyone with Extang but Bakflip is definitely worth the investment.

after some further research im leaning further away from the extang given the fact it doesnt run flush, did you do the mx4 install yourself?

edit: that cover really does look nice!

Yes sir, the self-install was not very difficult and there are plenty of YouTube videos you can use as reference. If you do not have a Bedliner it shouldn't take more than 60-90 min with minimal difficulty. My Line-X dealer was charging a little over $100 to install it, but its generally a DIY project.

I have the Xtang Xceed.
It's pretty flush.
It has never leaked.
I installed it myself. (very straight-forward)
Love it!

Extang is $1,301CAD max, depending on the model.

Thats a soft roll, right? Ideally I want to stick with a hard folding.

Yea, I did do some research afterwards and found some cheaper prices. I found amazon to be the cheapest at 1330.00 + tax.

It's a hard folding....
And VERY sturdy! I have stood on it!
I compared it to the MX4, and decided the construction and latch system of the Xceed was better for me.

Not sure where your getting your price for the BakFlip MX4. Listed on the BakFlip website for $1110.88 w/ free shipping.
I bought mine through 4 Wheel Parts and got a free install. Very happy with it!

It's a roll up that is easily removed. Different that the others you're looking at but about the same money.

Yeah, I got the Bak Flip for the same price from Action Auto. They said if I got them to install it for 45 dollars they would extend the warranty for 5 extra years. Not a bad deal.

I'm going to install a different version of the BakFlip - the Revolver X4S.
When it arrives I'll install and give my impressions of fit and finish.
This is on a Raptor (obviously) but I really like the seamless look.
Order direct and got a good deal since it is Memorial Day weekend.
