The electronics are different. The housing is the same. My Fusion one started acting up and I just ended up sending the original one to get bored top 65mm.

I tried that with the ported one but it didn't like it. I just sent in the stock one while I was deployed and got it back by the time I got home. Installed with zero problems after that. You can try that but it may or may not work.

You're welcome to try. You may have better luck than I did with swapping the electronics. In theory it should work.

I have a 2.3L Mustang throttle body on my Focus. It looks like this TB would be an upgrade on the Ranger as well. Should I swap it back out on my Focus and keep it for the Ranger? I had really good luck with it installed on the Focus and would like to see that performance carried over to the Ranger if I can without buying a new one. :punch:

As I said the electronics are not compatible.

Not only are the electronics different, but the stock engine calibration has many maps that characterize the stock throttle plate flow & behavior to correspond with wastegate/turbo control and drivability. You're throwing that away for more flow (the throttle isn't the bottleneck anyway.) Unless your tuner really (REALLY) knows what he's doing and re-maps the throttle controls to maintain the same delta-pressure behavior. I haven't seen any that do that, outside of the official Ford Performance stuff.

I have zero drivability issues since I installed it. Runs perfectly fine. So, I threw nothing away. Idles fine, drive fine and it's more responsive especially from a complete stop.

That's good you don't notice a difference. Throttle PID control is likely working overtime, but that's it's job. You might notice part pedal weirdness, going from mid-pedal to deeper, but the trans delays cover up quite a bit of it.

Not at all. Everything is working good. I'm already tuned and it feels even better with the TB. I haven't even datalogged and revised yet.
