So, in my investigation of the throttle body and intake this is what I found. I already knew it's the same TB as the one on my 2.7 Fusion. The stock TB is maybe 58-59 mm. Both intakes are 64.45 mm. But the 2.3 is a nightmare inside. I swapped in my ported TB with half shaft mod while I send in the stock ones to get bored out to 64.45 mm. Even the ported one is good for a few hp and better throttle response. My mileage went up on my Fusion as well.
UPDATE ! The calibration is different!! You'd have to send in yours to be ported/ bored out. Or swap the electronics like I did with the ported one. So, got can't just bolt on a Mustang or Fusion one.
