Mine had 7 miles. Seems like everyone wants the FX4, the dealer had 4 vehicles and 3 had FX4. I thought the ride was OK but a bit stiff for on road. The salesman then told me they had 1 Lariat without the FX4, when I brought it back after the test drive it had 13 miles. I was nuts about the ride the truck had compared to the FX4. In all honesty I think I was the first one to drive my truck.

Hi Folks,

Hard to explain over single digits for the odo except for Engineering drives and dealer drives. Dealer drives are what they are..some dealers allow salespersons to drive the new product home thus racking up some miles. As for Ford drives, a few vehicles are driven by plant Quality personnel to ensure the vehicles are to design intent Maybe over 30 miles and in the case of engineering drives it may be closer to 75 or more but under 125 miles as over 125 it becomes a used truck. When I did plant drives, I carried a roll of stickers that stated that the vehicle was part of a quality drive and that the warranty was extended by what the odo had on it. A plant drive vehicle is reality is a good thing as if we find any problems, they are fixed prior to shipment. My Ranger had 8 miles on the odo...I was the first "test drive" before I bought it..otherwise the odo mileage was accumulated just driving it to the dealer lot parking place out front as well as the drive to the shipping yard, be it rail or haulaway semi... Hope this makes sense..

I got mine right off the truck...after they went to fill it up there were only 2 miles on the odo. Had a 6 mile test drive so only 8 on my paperwork.

Mine had something like 26 miles. Someone thought that they might have driven it from the plant to the railyard in Woodhaven where it was put on a train. Apparently that happens sometimes. Mine was an order, and I don't think the dealership really drove it after it came in.

My '15 Escape (ordered out) had 1 mile on odo When my dealer got their first Ranger it had 1 mile on the odo straight off the delivery truck. I put 10 on it test driving.

Mine had 43 when we did the paperwork. But 27 of that was part of my test drive the day I bought it. The sales guy let me drive it to my house to show my wife. So it had about 16 when I looked at it.

3.4 the first time we saw each other did not drive it on that day. 14 the day I took delivery two days later!
