Grace under pressure helps a ton as well. When I had my Audi, I watched my friend take some serious heat. Grace under pressure and maintaining composure definitely helps, especially if they know you won't rip their head off if someone slips up
I'm learning that in my old age.

I used to love to let the redhead out. Now I feel like Bruce Banner.

I’ve always used conventional/blend whether Valvoline, Motorcraft or Castrol and have never had any issues with any Ford engine. Then again I feel more comfortable with 5,000 to 7500 oil change intervals. As long as it has the Ford approved number on there.

But I would be pissed if I wanted synthetic and they didn’t listen. Ford dealers are hard headed. Make sure to fill out the survey or give them a less than 5 star on google review.

Walmart puts synthetic 5w 30 in my 3.5 ecoboost. Used to go to dealer but 3 times requesting 5w 30 synthetic and getting 5w 20 blend, I don't go there any more.
It's hot here in the desert and I want the cheap insurance of full synthetic.
And my car doesn't drip oil in my driveway after a Walmart oil change like it does when the dealer did it.
