A dealer offered me 31k for my truck last month. When it’s selling value is 39k… bought my XLT 2020 sport for 37000 out the door. 0% APR ?

It looks like prices are coming down in my area.

My latest Vroom offer was only $30k whereas it has been in the mid 30s, and KBB has dropped around $4k to a $40k trade in.

Carvana is still mid 30s on their cash offer (it got as high as $38.5k) and Carmax won't give an offer online anymore, they want to see the truck before making an offer.

a few weeks ago i saw a 2 door bronco with the 35s. and manual listed for msrp from the dealer i purchased my 5g ranger from. I was mildly interested and gave him a call. he told me upfront that it would selling for more than msrp since they had so many offers. i told him paying msrp or higher was against my religion lol. he laughed and agreed that he would not either. i really hope things get back to how they should be. not just for cars and trucks but everything seems so screwed up or overpriced now. kinda depressing. makes the high used value a catch 22, we may be able to sell for what we paid or even more in some cases but then we turn around to buy another new ride the price hit is worse than before.

I paid $39k for my XLT FX4 with tech and sport pkg. I traded my 2021 Accord for 36k, which was 5k more than I paid for it a year prior. My oldest daughter will be driving our renegade next year, and we will be buying a new vehicle for My wife. She wants a bronco but all of the dealerships within 5 states of us are charging 20k+ markup. But I can order a Wrangler and have it in 3 months at cost.
