Wonder if the G6 will have one built in to the hinge assembly?
Guarantee they will like the F150's have now. Then Al will have no choice but submit to his resistance. Of course he will tell everyone he's taking it off but we all know he will LOVE it once he finally tries it! ?

Once you go dampened you never go back.

It was a beautifully sunny May Day, and an especially hot one for us cresting the mid-80Fs (about 30F deg above average). So I decided to break out the kayak and go for a paddle. A bit windy and I am not quite in my summer shape, so it was a tiring one, but very fun nonetheless.

Sure no problem. I forgot to take a picture of the finished product before I bolted it in but I used a piece of 2 in.² tubing cut at 4 inches long and then ripped it in half, used 1/2 on one side and 1/2 on the other. Welded the nuts on the inside of the box before I welded the box on to what was left of the front hoops (I have an FX4 so I had the skid plate mounting tabs that I had to cut off and use on the front). It’s bolted to the trailer hitch and the bolts come in from the top. Of course I had to paint them Magnetic.

Someone else used to term "softroader" in another post and I've gotta admit, I'm a huge fan of softroaders.

Before the Ranger, I was looking for a 2019 Golf Alltrack SEL with a manual transmission which was very difficult to find but I still love em!

My son has driven from Portland Oregon to Big Bend National Park, Texas in a 1987 Chevy Sprint that probably shouldn't have made it out of his driveway. The flames add only 5 hp. At last count he has driven over 3600 miles in the last month.

I believe he clocked 82 mph at Bonneville!

Much of the car is held together with zip ties and duct tape. It just keeps going.

He participates in Gambler 500 offroad events often. It is slowly decomposing but he says it isn't decomposing as fast as it was when he left home. Sort of a parabolic curve. He has had to replace a wheel bearing, cooling fan, several zip ties, and the radiator cap. One of the coil springs fell out but he jacked it up and got it back in.
Gamblers' motto is "ABG!" always be gamblin'!

Doe Mnt isn't a long hike but it's very rocky and a lot of climbing in some areas which was tough for my gf with her bad knee but she's a champ and made it to the top! Once at the top you can walk the whole shelf and the views on the backside of awesome.
