So, I traded in my 2020 Ranger. It was a hard decision but I think it was developing a transmission issue. The transmission had always been clunky and jerky, but it's getting worse. There were other reasons and I'm going to miss my Ranger. But not as much as I still miss my Mustangs that preceded it!
This will be my first time in 30+ years I'm not driving a Ford. But my local dealership turned to crap, and made that decision easier.

So I replaced it with a 2023 Charger GT. I really wanted a Hemi but I need my drivers license!! ???

But I wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped me over the years. This group is so awesome and full of great people who are willing to take the time to help others. This group is freakin' awesome!

I hope I can find a similar one for Chargers!

Again, thanks and keep on Trucking!

David

I really wanted my wife to get a Charger GT AWD when her Dart was totaled by a deer. Color is the most important feature to her and we couldn't find one in a color she liked. She wound up with a Spitfire Orange Jeep Cherokee.

hope you enjoy the charger! no rule about still taking part on r5g.
I don’t blame you. I have the delayed harsh up shift when cold and am on trip 3 this week to the dealer. It’s clown shoes galore in the dealer I bought it but I need a loaner. Hoping the finally tear it apart and replace the drum but the lack of support even from fords side made me realize I’ll stick with luxury brands. Hope the charger is a good vehicle for you.

No one understands getting rid of a Ranger more than me. When I first got my 2019 it was good for 2 years. The third year it was the transmission surging that I put up with for 2 months. The end of the third year it was the heater box. 16 months later it's the heater box again after the extended warranty expired. 3rd and 4th year I was plagued by SYNC3 problems.

I traded it in for a Tacoma. I loved that engine and transmission in the Ranger and believe that's what made the vehicle great. But, all the technology accessories just started to grenade. The Tacoma does not have a lot of accessories because of the bad taste from the Ranger. We'll see how the Tacoma does.

Did the dealer know about the problems they inherited? ? ?
