Having an issue with this......

When I start the truck using the remote start on the key fob the mirrors unfold, not an issue, when I shut the truck off the mirrors fold, then unfold when I unlock to exit the truck then they fold when I lock the truck.

I have the wiring done per the instructions for the mirrors to fold when I lock the truck and unfold when I unlock the truck.

The question is... If you are using this module wired as mine is do your mirrors unfold when using the remote start on the key fob then fold when you shut the truck off then unfold when you unlock to exit the vehicle.

That's a lot of folding and unfolding!

The mirrors need their exercise. ? He should be happy they don't fold when the doors lock when the truck hits 5 mph.

Per the manual, too much [un]folding and that will stop for a motor cooldown break. I forget the number of times within a time frame or if the cooldown time was even given. Something I read while working on adding the power fold to my `21 XLT.

If I may ask where did you read this?

Thanks

Do you have the auto lock when you start moving and unlock when you put the truck in park activated? You may want to disable it if you do to see if this problem still occurs ?
