The teenager has been living the high life for the last year. I'm thinking it's about time we move her Jeep from the garage to the street. A little bit of hardship builds character, right?Hi Doug,
It will simply not fit in your garage...so give it up and provide me the name, address and phone number of the place that has it please....
Best,
Phil

This.ok, it’s a Chevy. You’re welcome.
cant talk you out of it! i say jump in both feet! needs a bigger motor possibly.Like most red-blooded American men I periodically cruise Craigslist.
Found this beauty the other day. And I keep coming back to the ad to see if it's still around. It's sitting at and appears to be built by a local shop I have experience with who does good work.

'48 Chevy on S-10 frame. 4 bolt 350, 4 wheel disc's, drop leafs and spindles, PS/PB, 5spd manual.
They're asking around $20k. It would be a driver for me, just to fart around in.
If I get some earlier nights in this week and/or it's still around Friday I think I'm gonna go check it out.
Discuss please. And throw out any advice you might have when checking it out.
5 spd in it would probably be weak link that would need to be addressed before applying more power.cant talk you out of it! i say jump in both feet! needs a bigger motor possibly.
Just get a minivanPerfect. Now that I can work with.
Excellent points about fit, tilt wheel, and electrical. These are the types of things I'm trying to think about going in.
Craigslist ad states the frame to body conversion was done with a code504 kit. Looking at their website their stuff seems pretty legit.

should have been there the whole time. The teenager has been living the high life for the last year. I'm thinking it's about time we move her Jeep from the garage to the street. A little bit of hardship builds character, right?
Timing is everything! My friend just added a piece of railroad track as a rear bumper on his old Chevy hotrod build. The very next day was rear ended by a VW. Totaled the VW but barely scratched the bumper.. True story 3 weeks ago.
I deserve that! My youngest is almost old enough to transport herself. And until then she can roll with her sis. Looking for something for just me and mama bear now.Just get a minivan![]()
I caved because she's got me wrapped around her little finger, we had the room, and she did a lot of work on the YJ. But I think it might be time.should have been there the whole time.
as for the clear coat over rust... it's still rusty and the clear coat WILL bubble and peel off
does the ad say anything a TGD?
