Still much better than TRD. Who in their right mind didn't think it would end up a TURD? ?
First time I have ever heard that reference and never heard Taco as a reference to Tacoma until joining this site either. But over the years "Found On Road Dead" or "Fix Or Repair Daily" has been a regular occurrence.

Taco is a term Tacoma owners came up with. Lots of "Taco" clubs out there. Adventure Taco is a good page to follow for some camping and off-roading ideas.

"Taco" Has been a nickname for the Tacoma since they first replaced the Hilux in this market, long before this forum was created. I've seen "'Yote" in reference to Toyota as well as the Ford 5.0L V8(Coyote). Pancho" was a nickname for Pontiacs back in the glory days, and "Mopar"( Stellantis" trademark for US parts div.) has referred to Chrysler products going back to the Chrysler 300 392 Firedome V8. "VeeWee" was popular for Volkswagen

BTW, it's First On Race Day!
edit: GMC- Gotta Mechanic Comin'
FIAT- Fix It Again, Tony

Q: Know why a rear window defroster is standard on a Yugo?
A: So your friends can keep their hands warm while they push you!

Q: How do you make a SAAB go 100mph?
A: Push it over a cliff.
