Nice line and on proper side of the mustard! I haven't made a trip over there yet this year, but I'm due to take the fun car out for it's spring outing soon. I tend to go mid week because the weekends got too wild a few years back.Beautiful road indeed...caught by Killboy...

I'm more than shocked you never added more lights. I know it's a small car but knowing you you'd find a place/places to add them. lolNot to worry my friend...when I get her refitted for round two, she'll be better equipped...?I'm more than shocked you never added more lights. You had me worried there Sid! ?We started annual runs back in 2002 and still hold the record for attendance of over 800+ MINIs...Fontana Village and the Dragon looks like a MINI infestation gone wild...nowadays we go slow and crash the MINIs on the Dragon in my Ranger...Nice line and on proper side of the mustard! I was there in 2009, with my 2009 JCW hardtop. We started annual runs back in 2002 and still hold the record for attendance of over 800+ MINIs...Fontana Village and the Dragon looks like a MINI infestation gone wild...nowadays we go slow and crash the MINIs on the Dragon in my Ranger...
I guess you have never been on this road. This road is used for fun driving. If you bothered to know me you know that I am a very experienced driver in race cars on others. I have over a million miles driving experience and I know my limitations. I also know my trucks limitations. Were you there today to see me drive thru? I guess not since you did not see my runs. I have videos of both runs from start to finish. You will not see ONE time me crossing the yellow line. Why do you comment about someone else's driving when you do not know them or their experience. I turn 65 next month and am guessing the you are no more than 22 and daddy bought your Ranger for you.agreed, but asshats will ruin it for others.
Your wont regret it. Not only is it a great ride, but everywhere you go out here is totally beautiful! Stay for at least a week, the Dragon is just one attraction if you love the outdoors. On my bucket list to drive
Back somewhere between 2007 and 2009, I crashed the mini gathering in my NC Miata once. I recall there were many mini's there. Had all the Mazda speed suspension goodies, just needed more power to keep up with the pace of those supercharged mini's. Always fun to see the mini's lift that inside rear tire in the curves. We started annual runs back in 2002 and still hold the record for attendance of over 800+ MINIs...Fontana Village and the Dragon looks like a MINI infestation gone wild...nowadays we go slow and crash the MINIs on the Dragon in my Ranger...
He is a glass half empty kind of guy, always looking at the down side. I ran that road on my 2013 F6B a few times while staying at Deals Gap Motorcycle camp, lots of fun, but you are correct, one must pay attention. Why do you assume that?
We were there in the original Msfitoy...Miata's are always welcome at MINI events...we went down with them in my 20psi Cobalt SS one time...small displacement, big handling will out run V8s at the Dragon all day long...Back somewhere between 2007 and 2009, I crashed the mini gathering in my NC Miata once. That's the legendary down hill both ways road...We have a road here out in Prescott - Jerome (89A) which has something like 167 curves in it. There's a lot of really tight hairpin curves and you'll see many crosses where people have died on it. They sell t shirts in town that say something like "I survived 89A" with a picture of it on the front.
This is only part of it from Jerome - Prescott. There are no guardrails on the sides so it's a long way down if you mis calculate your speed.
