Sync 3.3 Available

Just got this notice on my Ford Pass. Sync 3.4 update. Now if I can only get my truck to find the update and connect to the internet.

edit. Looks like it has to be via usb.

Well, it looks in the pictures it shows the blue bars which would be 3.4 right?

I am also curious. I received my Ford Pass notice too. I remember someone on this forum saying that a sync upgrade took away some of the startup screens that you can enable with Forscan. Anyone able to confirm or deny? I don't want to loose my Raptor start up screen.

The thing that makes me angry is that we have a WiFi system and there’s a button to update but they don’t use that. Has to be an old crappy usb drive and computer.

I know, and that's why I got excited.. however, I downloaded both the earlier update (from April 2019) and this one (the files inside the package are dated 1/3/2020), and aside from the date, they are identical. Same unpacked size and same names. Also, the Ford.com site itself states 3.3 not 3.4.

That said, there seems to be a 3.4 update available, as mentioned here: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/just-updated-to-sync-3-4-on-my-ranger-2019.5988/ it is through the F150 forums, but it appears to work for the 2019 Ranger (according to the OP).

I got the same "SYNC 3 update - transform your commute" message on My Ford Pass on my phone today. As others have done, I got on my laptop and no update is available. I then called Ford customer service on the 800 number. I had to find and give them my VIN (real convenient) and they also said that no update is available.

What a sh!tshow!!!

Downloaded it. Installed to usb stick. Installed in truck. Said was complete. Left off for a while. Came back. No diff. Still 3.3

the system tells me “system updated” but still no change. Don’t get it

When I log in and check it tells me I have the latest version...I thought it needs to go through USB?
