F'ing trains...
You tracking your rail car? I haven't even tried. My email said Sep 9 at the earliest; I have no idea what to expect.

What's Ramp One on your window sticker?

You can track the rail car, but you may need to call Ford to get the actual car info.

I am not sure what Ramp 1 means, but thought it may be the ramp it was being loaded at Ford’s production facility.

I was following a new Gen6 yesterday going to the shops. I'm starting to see a few on the roads here now, this one was a base model with a builders logo on the side.
Obviously a work truck. I can't believe that over there you can't get delivery of the current model and over here they are clearing stocks, although all the Gen6's are currently sold out. I see a few enterprising people selling new Gen6's privately at inflated prices.
Scabs or screws?

FWIW, it seems like efficiency has increased significantly with the replacement. Of the plant manager a few weeks ago, including the shipping of the vehicles. Perhaps the new plant manager is better organized, or has more connections, or just has a sense of urgency (and maybe that is tied to a $$$$ incentive to get these trucks built and shipped that have been ordered).

I think it's a destination. I posted a week or so back and a guy from KCMO found similar info by searching Google for the code in the "ramp one" box.

Don is less than 100 miles south of me and I'm curious if his truck has the same destination as mine.

Technically you can track when the train left it's pick up point but you cannot track it's progress

I have seen that from others that have tried as well. To track the progress, that is. Difficult to do.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you'd have to know somebody working for the railroad to get that info. And unfortunately for me I don't
Me neither, but if I did, I'd be singing:
I've been working on the railroad
All the live-long day.
I've been working on the railroad
Just to pass the time away.
Can't you hear the whistle blowing,
Rise up so early in the morn;
Can't you hear the captain shouting,
"Dinah, blow your horn!"
Dinah, won't you blow,
Dinah, won't you blow,
Dinah, won't you blow your horn?
Dinah, won't you blow,
Dinah, won't you blow,
Dinah, won't you blow your horn?
Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
Someone's in the kitchen I know
Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
Strummin' on the old banjo!
Singin' fee, fie, fiddly-i-o
Fee, fie, fiddly-i-o-o-o-o
Fee, fie, fiddly-i-o
Strummin' on the old banjo.

Have they actually named the replacement manager yet? I couldn't find anything online.
