I ordered the supercab, XLT FX4, 302A package, trailer package, Hot pepper red, spray in liner and black running boards.
The dealer seems to think it's the bedliner holding things up.
I ordered basically the same truck in February, minus bedliner cause the dealer said that would hold it up... I wonder if they aren't just sitting on SuperCab orders until they hit a certain volume?

That's an excellent question I haven't even considered. Thank you.

And then there's those of us with late February order (mine was 2/28) that are still waiting to be scheduled and never got ant 07/07 "delay" email. I do know my order is still in the system as I've exchanged messages (all with my initiation) with the dealer.
I'm a 2/27 order for an XLT, FX4, 301a and a towing package, with the email from Ford confirming order on the 28th. No VIN or build date, so I'm assuming your comment on a 7/7 delay doesn't apply to our builds. Are we looking at August or September builds? Which brings me to another question, when is the 2022 model year production cutoff date?
I'm not interested in a 6g.

I have seen other Supercabs scheduled the last couple months from other members here.

Typo. It should have been 04/07 email that others said they got. I'll go back and edit my comment.

Welp was told the ETA was 5/18 - 5/25(today) for mine to arrive, so far no call, just status of In Transit/Shipped I guess if I don't hear anything by 6/1 I'll contact the dealership and see what the deal is.
Would be nice if the dealership would say hey, we've had this guy asking more than once about ETA's and missed the latest. Let's look and see if we have any updates and shoot him an email.
All they'd have to do is put a calendar reminder on the last ETA day.

That makes me feel a little better. ?
I was hoping I get a delivery before August, but I know that is highly unlikely. That would be the 6 months my salesman talked about. 6 month was his best case scenario, 9 months was outside.

Pre-delivery inspection my friend! Check for paint chips, damage during transport, battery and fluids are good to go, top off whatever is necessary, send to detail to get cleaned up, basically make sure they are handing me the keys to a running, driving, as perfect as possible vehicle. Your truck will go through it as well
I used the Ford app to ask them to lower the tire pressure to normal. I didn't have them wash it just in case I wanted to ceramic coat it (LOL, I haven't washed it yet, here it is the end of the second week of having it).

They did top off the gas tank BUT did not top off the wiper fluid. I did check the oil and here's hoping the tranny and diff are properly filled!

And, of course, do inspect things like door and tailgate closure, hood and bed alignment, interior condition (headliner, interior doors, knobs, dash, glove box, lights, and all the little stuff you may not think of (like going through the settings menu, door locks, etc).

I couldn't get the one-touch driver window to work and pointed it out to my sales guy. He couldn't either and then wondered if the XL comes with it. I showed him the line on the window sticker (not that I memorized it while waiting for the truck to be delivered).

He had to get a service guy to come over and "initialize" the window switch. I have no idea what that means, maybe he held it up or down, or did some secret sequence of up and down like an old Nintendo game. But it works now—I'm screwed if the truck ever dies and needs to be initialized, I have no clue ...

Once mine went to shipped status, I had no more updates in either tracking thing. No rail car or anything.

I did email the dealer after a few days of being "In-Transit" and he said it was on a rail car somewhere between Michigan and the rail yard in Massachusetts.

Then he let me know it was in Mass and that they'd schedule a driver. It showed up two days later. I consider myself very lucky to get it in a seemingly good time (ordered Jan 27, picked up May 13).

I'll still check with them on 6/1 if it hasn't arrived. I think they may have access to a little more detail of at least where the vehicle is currently

I agree and they're interested in getting in your hands too. I don't think it's unreasonable to check with them a few times a week.

Good luck and I hope you get it soon! =)

I heard from many sources that the 6g will not be officially released until 2024 we may see a few here and there next year. So you will still be able to get the 5g ranger well into the rest of this and into 2023
