I ordered September 25th, 2021 was canceled and then reordered November 19th, 2021. S cab Velocity Blue, Tech, tow, FX4 package and a spray in bed liner. From my sales manager last week “well it is scheduled to be built” other then that I have nothing.

Yes same here my dealer is pretty lame on information. I come up with more information than they do.

This forum has been amazing for info, at lest for me, I don’t quite know the ways around to gather the right information so I come here.

I called the salesman today and added the tow package to my unscheduled order. It ups the tow rating to 7800 pounds while an aftermarket like U-Haul is only rated at 4000 pounds. The factory tow pack is 495 on the sticker while U-Haul is asking about 400 here in Tampa. Salesman said it could set my build and delivery date back. I'm two weeks since my order date on 2/27 so I just have to be patient and won't stress over it. If it gets built and shows up in a reasonable time frame dealer said 12-16 weeks it will be a surprize.

Tow package wont slow down your build date. Get it

I've had it on my order since day one and received a build date about a week after confirmation. My date was pushed back a week about 2 weeks ago, but none of my options seem to have delayed it.

It just seemed... wrong to me to buy a truck without a hitch! And they're useful for things other than trailers. I've added one aftermarket in my garage in the past (alone), even with a delay it'd be worth it to not do that again.

1/7/2022 order confirmation
2/17 VIN assigned with 3/28 build week
No change to build week, yet.

Just for thought if anyone ordered before Dec 27th. Ford put new prices out and if you ordered before the 27th of December. You are locked in that price. If you change your order after that, you will incur the new prices for the quarter because of change. I have the detail sheet around here some where. Pretty sure the date was Dec 27th. Mine should hit production following week. Ordered Nov 11th Scab XL. Long waiting or Headrest recall I'm sure. It's 27th, made correction to post. Added document for those order before the 27th to have in hand if dealer want's to say price change. I got 1.5% under invoice and signed OTD Price with taxes and fees. I'll still have this with me

Nice. I ordered on 12/15. If you can post that info bulletin iit may come in handy for us thst ordered before the 28th.

Yeah I'll get a print out of that just in the event my dealer tries to pull something.

Fords $1,500 "apology" rebate for the delay somehow ended up only being $1,250. Not sure how they can pocket that $250, but meh.

I got the same truck as you minus the cover and tow package. Ordered 12/17/21, got my VIN on 01/20/22.
