So, ordered SCab + FX4 +302A + Spray liner + Tow Pkg back on 08/16/21. Order cancelled in Oct. Reordered by dealership on 10/25/21 - order confirmation email received by Ford on 10/25/21. Still have not received build date. Talked with dealership today. Sales rep stated he thought the hold-up is the fact Ford doesn't have the second-row seating currently available. However, I see, quite a few of you guys that have ordered SCab's have received build dates. Not sure what is going on. I've started looking for used Rangers but only $4000 difference between new and used with 30,000 miles. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Not sure what to do anymore... very discouraging to say the least!

Update just checked email and new email from ford now my build date has been pushed to April 4! So the wait continues?

It’s very frustrating I didn’t receive my build date until I had stopped by dealer and had them enter my email address which they neglected to do. And really no information from selling dealer at all. I feel your pain.

Is everyone sticking with there orders after these non stop gas prices? My commute is minimal but I feel bad for people who drive a lot. It doesn't look like it's going to get better anytime soon.

I have to drive 8 miles a day for work. All of my other travel can be adjusted if needed. If I was commuting long distances daily I would select a different vehicle, but for my use the Ranger is perfect.

My blend day is today so it should be getting built as I type this. Hopefully the transport time isn't too bad to get it here.

My blend was yesterday. No word yet. Wondering if truck was built yesterday but is waiting for spray bed liner and paint protection to be applied before I get the “built” notification

Blend date is the day the chassis and body meet and it heads down the final assembly line. All of the components are "blended" together.

Blend date is when all the materials come together for vehicle to be built. You have a build week of April 11th. Meaning it can be built any day of that week. The blend date is established when your window sticker is created. Usually a few days before your build week starts

But I may have to redefine blend date as the date you get your Ranger home and blend up some margaritas! ?

Just picked up my Ranger last week. Got lucky, searched the Ford inventory and called all the dealerships and found the one I wanted....it had just arrived that morning. Put a deposit on it and bought next day.

I ordered mine Nov 2 and haven't heard a damn thing. Can never get a hold of the salesman either. Pissing me off.
