So my build date got pushed back a week. Not sure what they mean by "scheduled ETA".

There really should be a public facing way to check the status in a more simplified way...

Just checked in with Ford Chat. A few days ago they told me my build date was 10/28. This morning they said it is 11/9. Interesting because I received no further notification since the email telling me my build week had been pushed from 10/17 to 10/24.

I haven't gotten anything new from Ford either since the last production change email (same 10/17 to 10/24) so I was hoping that was a good thing, apparently not. ?

Yeah, it seems like they could have something like an "order status page" that actually read this information from a database or something so that they could avoid customer support being bogged down in people asking "can you make this API call since your website doesn't actually show current information?" It's really quite laughable that a company this big has tech so bad.

Lol. We should make a list of Vin and order numbers and anytime someone calls or messages they ask about all our trucks. Lol

I mean, that was my guess, but it seems like a 2 week turnaround between build started and delivered to dealer is beyond optimistic.

Come to think of it....when they gave me a 10/28 date, they gave me an ETA date of 10/26. Very strange.

Oh, I already got one of those (about 4 days before I got my original "scheduled for production" email). I'm pretty sure they're just automatically sent if you haven't gotten another email within 45 days.

So I'll either get another "we promise to send you an email with no information on it every 45 days" on November 6th or they'll send me a production delayed email before that.
