Would you be able to post a pic of the damage to your tailgate please?
I didnt notice any tool marks near the latches so when i looked under the handle, this is what i saw.

Have POE security cameras? Wi Fi/wireless security cameras? The latter are next to useless as everyone already seems to know how to jam/spoof wi fi/wireless systems. Ask me how I know.... :(
I had cameras but a few months ago, a nearby lightning strike fried all of my hardwired ethernet devices...router, wifes work phone and docking station, security cameras. Installing new camera system as i type.

Hard to believe it would be very lucrative with the Ranger. Not that expensive and not nearly as common.
If you have the LED tail lights they are about $1100.00 without the BLIS sensors from Ford.

North of the 49th it’s all futile. My brother got GREAT footage of the methhead that was working the neighborhood and even stole the camera. Cops agreed, “Great footage!!”….then left.

Really not seeing what you are trying to show here.

Other than praising Ford on a great design.

Sorry to hear that and I hope everything gets fixed in a timely manner. Unfortunately this is an old trick. My old Dakota driver's door was popped the same way about 20 years ago.

That really sucks.

I see from the pic that you have a garage. If only the Ranger had been parked in it.

Also, dogs, there's no way anybody could have spent that much time at my truck in my driveway without my dogs raising hell.

Sad that we have to think about this stuff really.

Would changing the screws that hold in the light with special security screws help? I would say just fill in the screw head with epoxy, but what happens is you need to replace a bulb?

No bulbs to change in the LED assemblies that people are stealing.

With the knowledge of where to punch the tailgate, and what I assume was some quick and quiet action my bet is that they MIGHT be a member here.

If not, they're VERY familiar with the truck. If I were the OP I'd be eyeballing the neighborhood. This seems like a targeted attack. Some guy that needed/wanted new taillights for his truck and knew how to get them.
