Alcantara top/bottom. Perforated leather left/right. Grey stitch to match the upholstery.

Did this replace the factory leather or just stitched in place over it?

How was the learning curve on doing the stitching?? Always thought that looked tough to do. Also, dis you use any glue to hold it on?? Was all that in the kit or purchased separately??

Always had to have mine done professionally as I never found a kit that was as configurable as this one and that came out looking that good!! Very nice.

Over the OEM plastic one.
You mean over the leather? Looks like that's what you started with...does this make the grip too fat?

While the factory cover is supposedly leather, it certainly does feel "plasticky" compared to other leather steering wheels.

It's the next thing I will be upgrading on mine.

Yeah...not exactly Porsche leather...but we're expecting too much from a mid size truck...just happy I got 2019 with all the goodies the later models didn't...

Not just Porsche.

The leather steering wheel in my 25 year old Jeep feels nicer.

Looks very nice! How does the top/bottom material compare to the sides? Do either get too warm over time under your hands?

This! How long did it take?

Nope. I’m in an XLT, with cheap plastic wheel. The new cover is 100% coverage. Left and right perforated leather is part of the new cover and top/bottom is alcantara. Stitching is new too. 100% wrap around. Check out their website. It does NOT make the grip too fat. About ~1mm increase. On mine it made it feel way sportier because it gave it a bit more girth.

The material is perfect! Leather gets toastier than the alcantara, but nothing that makes it non drivable. Next cover I’ll likely get 100% Alcantara as it is just so nice to the touch. You can choose different materials per your preference.

Not at all. About ~1mm to the original. Made mine a bit better to hold. It gives it a smidge more girth which is easier on the knuckles.
