On my '19 I had a drop in liner because the dealer had already installed it as part of their cheesy "dealer prep package". I added a rubber bed mat because with those drop in liners everything's slides all over the bed, they're like ice. With my Tremor I had them do a spray in liner which is so much nicer! It's a Mil - Spec liner which is just like Line-X and I kept my rubber bed mat which helps your knees when you're in the bed because these liners are very rough. If I had it to do over again back when I had the $$$, I'd do the spray-in AND a mat of some type...bedrug maybe...as my old man bones don't do well with hard surfaces anymore.
After having it for just over a year now I still love this set up and would recommend going this route. Although I do like the bed rugs and depending on what your truck bed use is for that would be my second choice. Plus if the wifey is mad at you they look comfy enough to sleep in. ?
