If anything I would remove the plastic covers for the front crash bars and only add a maximum of 1/4 inch wheel spacer. The reason for the quarter inch wheel spacer he's just to get the tire away from the steering knuckle. After that for the most part you should be good. That way you don't have to worry about removing any equipped especially since the crash bars are there for a reason. The reason the crash bars are there are so your feet and legs have way less chance of being crushed in the time of an accident. Something we still hope no one ever gets it to but it's best to be safe than sorry. You may still do what you would prefer to do that is my best suggestion for you.

i dont know that adding a 2 inch spacer would change clearance of a 33 inch tire to a 35 inch tire but pushing the tire further out will for sure give you less perceived clearance.
