All work here was preformed by me, with a ton of help from friends. Cutting holes in the truck for the snorkel was nerve racking, but worth it!

I don't have sliders/steps yet.

John, I see you have been an active member here more than 4 years and you've owned this truck for quite long time for sure. How can you say you don't have steps yet? Admit - you don't want them! :D

I also have the ARB Safari snorkel. Love it. Also like Glocker, I did the install myself. It's not an overly difficult install, cutting/drilling through body panels is probably the hardest part for most people.

I have the Mishimoto/Bourne Offroad snorkel and I love it. It mounts using the vent hole that's already in the fender so you don't have to cut a hole in the outter fender, just the inner fender. Took 3-4 hours to install.

I actually really want rock sliders that my wife can use to climb into the truck. But I moved to a really flat area and there isn't a lot of off road driving here. ?

I didn't install a Snorkel on my Ranger when I had it, but I can say that between the Mishimoto to the ARB, the ARB is probably more efficient, but the Mishimoto requires less massive hole drilling in the fender.

That all said I have installed two different Snorkels on two different vehicles. First was a 93 Pathfinder. The second is a 2012 Frontier. I did the install myself. If you are not confident in your abilities then I would recommend taking it to a local OffRoad Shop that Specializes in this kind of stuff
